I stopped by my school's gallery yesterday to see when I needed to pick up my drawing, and it turns out I don't have to, because the chair of the art department selected it for a "best of the best" showcase in Denver. I was thrilled! And then I looked around at the other pieces that had been selected, and immediately felt outclassed. But still, success, of a kind. Maybe when I do eventually get it back, I'll take a picture of it.
